"We had a wonderful architect on board…who made this building all it could be."

Mr. Lonnie C. Bell, Jr., Orange County's Family Services Department Director

Holden Heights Community Center

Orange County Government selected us to provide architectural and engineering design services for the Holden Heights Community Center, located in Orlando’s established Holden Heights Neighborhood on the shore of Lake June. The Community Center supersedes a smaller existing neighborhood facility that the city demolished due to the widening of the I-4 corridor.

This facility provides the citizens of Orange County with a scenic and picturesque indoor and outdoor venue for a variety of group gatherings such as weddings, banquets, and receptions. Here, the County also accommodates various youth and senior programs, as well as social service programs within the facility. The primary feature of the building is a large multi-purpose area with an adjacent warming kitchen that accommodates up to 260 people. Additionally, this state-of-the-art facility includes breakout spaces, offices, a computer lab, a high tech training room, and an outdoor event area.
