“The building is a landmark and absolutely beautiful. It really raises the bar for architecture in Volusia County.”

Chris Bowley, City of Deltona Director of Planning & Development Services

Deltona Community Center

The City of Deltona approached us to design a multi-functional community center to support the needs of their residents, the local business community, and address the regional demand for a first-class venue for social events and activities. The facility is anchored by a 7,500 square foot banquet hall with a working stage for community theatre productions and live musical entertainment. The hall seats 500 (700 theatre style) and can divide up with movable partitions into three separate spaces. The 1,900 square foot ballroom pre-function space that runs the length of The Center faces the events lawn with access to the covered porch. The ballroom also includes a catering kitchen, bride & groom suites, a board room, and a separate 1,000 square foot meeting room that can also be partitioned.

In addition to the events spaces, The Center at Deltona includes the Council on Aging’s Deltona Senior Activity Center & Neighborhood Dining facility. The centerpiece is a 3,820 square foot “great hall” with a lounge seating area and space for games - it seats 100 for lunch each day. Seniors have their own kitchen, which assembles and distributes lunches for the meals-on-wheels program. Offices are provided for the Council along with a 1,600 square foot activities room for educational programs, wellness and socialization activities, dance classes, and other daily scheduled events.
