Cypress Creek High School

We provided architectural, engineering, and construction administration services for the Orange County Public Schools’ Cypress Creek High School Comprehensive Needs Project. The comprehensive project included a renovation and expansion to the campus to meet updated OCPS educational and facility standards for their school since its initial construction in 1992.

The Cypress Creek High School project included lessons learned from Dr. Phillips High School, that we designed around the same time, and shared similarities to this project since the majority of the design effort was capital renewal type improvements.

Significant elements of the project included renovation, an expansion and a remodel of approximately 402,203 gross square feet (GSF) to include the following buildings: administration, multi-purpose cafeteria, classroom, technology, art, music, media center, science, gymnasium, performing arts, field house, and their football stadium. As part of the project, we also added a new 43,739 square foot classroom building to the campus to house classrooms and skills labs for culinary arts and science programs.
