Winter Garden Community Center

The city took an aging former elementary school and transformed it into a beautiful and functional community center that enables its Parks and Recreation Department to expand its offerings to the community.

The auditorium and cafeteria received renovations to become flexible and spacious areas for events, kitchen facilities received upgrades, and the old custodian’s storage got turned into an art studio. The former library transformed into a multi-purpose/fitness room. Exercise stations wrap around the pond, and the Winter Garden community senior center is easily accessible nearby. Existing administrative offices were remodeled to consolidate all Parks and Recreation Department’s staff in one location.
