Miguel Botello, AIA, LEED AP
Project Manager
Miguel Botello, AIA, joined the firm in September 2007 as a project manager. He has nearly seven years of experience in the profession, and earlier this year, earned accreditation by the U.S. Green Building Council’s “Leadership in Energy & Environmental Design” (LEED) program.
At CTH+A, Miguel has served as project and production architect for a diverse range of projects including the Valencia Community College / University of Central Florida Joint Use Building 11, the City of Port Orange public safety-related projects and the Edgewater High School Comprehensive Needs Project. For the VCC/UCF Building 11, Miguel managed the REVIT design documentation process to effectively optimize the Building Information Modeling software to enhance the project’s design quality, cost and schedule.
Since 2006, Miguel has served on the American Institute of Architects - Orlando Chapter’s Intern Development committee, helping interns prepare for the professional architectural registration exam and develop into licensed architects.
Miguel earned his Master of Architecture and Bachelor of Environmental Design degrees from Texas A&M University where he served as a graduate teaching assistant. He is a magna cum laude graduate and recipient of the university’s Alpha Rho Chi graduate award, and College of Architecture Edward J. Romieniec senior award and sophomore faculty award.
