Employee Profile
Linda Karatzas, LEED AP
Director of Interior Design
Director of Interior Design Linda Karatzas is the newest member of CTH+A’s “green” family. LEED accredited and certified as a green building agent by the Florida Green Building Coalition, Linda joined the firm in September. Her responsibilities include a wide range of client services from space planning and programming to construction documentation with emphasis on the durability, cost and environmental impacts of finishes and furnishings.
“Sustainable design is important in the fight against global warming because it minimizes the impact on the environment both by conserving energy and reducing waste,” according to Linda who clearly is passionate about building green. “Beyond giving hope to our planet’s future, making the choice to ‘go green’ – when planned properly – need not cost more and can even save money in the long run.”
Prior to joining CTH+A, Linda was the director of interiors for another local architectural firm where she focused primarily on municipal projects. She also has worked overseas and for an architecture/engineering firm in Princeton, New Jersey.
Linda holds a Bachelor of Fine Arts degree from Temple University's Tyler School of Art in Elkins Park, Pa. and also has studied at the New York School of Interior Design and the School of Visual Arts in New York City.
