Mark Smith
Senior Development/Construction Administrator
Mark Smith has more than 30 years of diversified construction management and administrative experience in the areas of residential, commercial and land development, focused primarily on institutional/government, educational and hotel/retail/resort/restaurant projects. A registered “Class A” general contractor and real estate broker, his career includes construction administration for several Florida architectural firms and custom home building.
His responsibilities at CTH+A range from construction administration oversight to participation in program management and preliminary development for a variety of firm projects including Orlando International Airport Airsides 1 & 3 Expansion, Lakemont Prototype Elementary School and three other Orange County Public Schools K-12 comprehensive needs projects, Winter Garden City Hall and World Design Center-Orlando.
Before joining CTH+A in 2005, Smith’s project management experience included numerous facilities for the U.S. Navy’s Naval Air Stations in Key West; Meridian, Miss. and Corpus Christi, Tex. Other significant projects included construction administration for the University of South Florida’s 50,000 SF bookstore and retail area and project management for the 40,000 SF U.S. Space Camp & Astronaut Hall of Fame in Titusville, Fla.
Outside of the office, Smith enjoys spending time with his family, golf and a variety of water sports
