Whether it’s generating the firm’s responses to Requests for Qualifications (RFQs) and Request for Proposals (RFPs) or producing PowerPoint slide shows for public presentations, Diana Faustmann has a talent for creating attractive, informative and effectively persuasive documents. Her ability to make each look, speak and animate appropriately when printed, faxed or projected makes her an indispensable member of the CTH+A team.
As marketing manager, Diana wears many hats with equal elegance. She supports the firm’s business development by managing and producing both “responsive” and other collateral marketing material in support of advertised requests, interviews, award submissions and special events needs. She represents the firm at pre-submittal meetings, networking functions and trade shows and provides assistance with project and office administration, public/media relations coordination, newsletter production and website copywriting and updating.
Before joining CTH+A in 2001, Diana spent five years with another national architectural and interior design firm. Before that, her career included managing media services for one of Orlando’s largest advertising agencies, and writing and editing for two national magazines, including serving as publisher for one of them. It was in these fields where she honed her writing and design skills, and learned to take projects from research to concept development to final product.
A subtle accent hints at Diana’s Filipino heritage. She left Manila in 1986 with three young children (temporarily leaving behind her husband to wrap up operations of his own mid-size architectural firm) to begin a new life in Orlando with her mother and seven of ten siblings. Her children have gone on to become a Rollins College graduate, a West Point officer-in-training, a Pratt Institute industrial design senior, and a gifted high school sophomore, allowing her more time to spend immersed in good music and caring for orchids and other tropical plants (some of which adorn the firm’s downtown Orlando offices), and poised to invest more time in community service and leadership, inspired by C.T. and others in the firm
