Jim Hughes has more than 28 years’ experience in the development, master planning, design, and construction of public and private projects. His architectural experience includes projects for institutional, aviation, public safety, educational, health care and industrial facilities. Currently, he is the firm’s senior project manager for architecture and planning for the $100 million expansion projects of Airsides 1 and 3 at Orlando International Airport. Before joining CTH+A, Jim served as a captain and the base engineer for Mather Air Force Base in Sacramento, Ca. and senior program manager, architect and planner with Nakata Planning Group in Denver, Co. He received his master’s degree in Architecture from the University of Texas at Austin and his bachelor’s degree in Architecture with a minor in Urban Planning from North Dakota State University at Fargo. He is a licensed architect in Florida, California, Colorado and Minnesota; holds a National Council of Architectural Registration Board Certificate and is a member of the American Institute of Certified Planners in Florida and Colorado. |
