C.T. HSU + ASSOCIATES SELECTED FOR LITTLE RIVER ELEMENTARY SCHOOL REPLACEMENT PROJECT

ORLANDO, Fla. (January 19, 2011) – Orange County Public Schools (OCPS) has selected C.T. Hsu + Associates to provide architectural and engineering services for the Little River Elementary School Replacement Project to provide improved facilities and modernize the campus located at 100 Caswell Drive in Orlando.

Major elements of the approximately $12 million construction budget project include demolition of the existing modular classrooms, core buildings and other miscellaneous storage and mechanical buildings totaling approximately 125,000 Gross Square Feet (GSF); Replacement with a permanent Prototype Elementary School design that will include administration suite, cafeteria, kitchen, media center, art, music, science and computer labs, and classrooms, totaling approximately 90,000 GSF. The new facilities shall accommodate approximately 650 student stations and be constructed on the occupied campus. OCPS’ target completion date is June 2012.
