ORLANDO, Fla. (October 27, 2009) – C.T. Hsu + Associates is providing architectural services for the new 5,000-square-foot Yalaha Community Center located between Howey-in-the-Hills and Leesburg in Lake County, Fla.

The construction project is using the master plan and preliminary program prepared by the firm and following the USGBC LEED principles for sustainable design.  In addition to full architectural and engineering design services, CTH+A also is providing fundraising and grant procurement support for the project.

The new facility is being built on the site of Yalaha’s historic one-room school house.  Lake County is partnering with the Yalaha Community Club to fund and build the facility that will provide a much needed gathering place for the town’s residents.
